Scenario Lab data
The Profit Scenario Lab stores current and saved comparisons in your browser’s local storage. Share links encode scenario information in the URL fragment after the # symbol. URL fragments are not normally sent to a web server with the page request, but anyone who receives a shared link can read the information encoded in it. Do not include confidential information in scenario names or shared links.
Preferences and consent
We use local storage to remember your light or dark theme, analytics choice, and saved Scenario Lab comparisons. This information remains on your device unless you clear browser data or remove it through browser settings.
Analytics
If Google Analytics is configured, it loads only after you select “Allow analytics.” We use analytics to understand page usage and feature engagement. Analytics events do not include calculator prices, costs, financial inputs, or scenario names.
